Danièle Dupré

Danièle Dupré is a French chanson singer from the 1950s. During her childhood she lived in Brazil for a few years . Back in France she took singing lessons, had music appearances and played a supporting role in the comedy Die Pariserin in 1957 .

She represented Luxembourg at the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson in 1957 in Frankfurt am Main . With the ballad Amours mortes (Tant de peine) she reached fourth place. Some of her singles were still released by the Polydor record company , after which she retired from the music business to work as an interior designer .
