Guest Waltzing

Gast Waltzing (sometimes also mentioned as Gaston Waitzling or Gaston Waltzing ; born August 13, 1956 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg music professor, trumpeter , conductor and composer . Waltzing became known as the composer of numerous theme songs for television and cinema productions.

Live and act

At the age of seven he attended the conservatory in his home town of Luxembourg. He later studied music at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles and the Paris Conservatory .

In 1982 he took over a music professorship at the Conservatory in Luxembourg. With his jazz-oriented band Largo he has performed in many European countries and Asia, and has so far released the albums Fables of Lost Time (2003) and Long Journey (2005).

Waltzing operates its own music production company with Waltzing Parke Records (WPR).

In 2010, Waltzing conducted the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie at a concert by Amy Macdonald in the Rockhal in Luxembourg , for which he wrote scores for the symphonic implementation.
