Kluknava (German Kluckenau , Hungarian Kluknó ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia .
location
It is located in the western foothills of the Čierna hora , a north-eastern part of the Slovak Ore Mountains in the Hornád Valley, about 4 km from the town of Krompachy .
history
The place was first mentioned in 1308 as Plichnow .
Attractions
In the village there is a Roman Catholic church from 1555, baroque in 1710, a fort from the 16th century and two chapels. A covered wooden bridge connects the place with the settlement of Štefanská huta .
