Paul Donoghue
Paul Donoghue SM (born January 18, 1949 in Auckland ) is Bishop of Rarotonga .
Life
Paul Donoghue joined the religious community of the Marist Fathers , made his profession on January 7, 1969 and was ordained a priest on June 29, 1975 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Rarotonga on April 11, 2011 .
The episcopal ordination donated him the old bishop of Rarotonga, Stuart France O'Connell SM, on July 16 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Charles Daniel Balvo , Apostolic Nuncio to New Zealand and the Federated States of Micronesia , and Denis George Browne , Bishop of Hamilton in New Zealand .
Bishop Donoghue has chaired the Pacific Bishops' Conference since 2016 .
