Paul Dupuy

Paul Dupuy (born January 18, 1856 in Loudun , † March 17, 1948 in Geneva ) was a French geographer and historian .

Paul Dupuy was professor of geography at the École internationale de Genève and lecturer in history at the Parisian École normal supérieure . From 1895 to 1935 he was general secretary of the École normal supérieure. In 1896 he published the first comprehensive biography of the mathematician Évariste Galois : La vie d'Évariste Galois .
