Paul Hager (dike inspector)
Paul Hager (born April 18, 1859 in Eberswalde ; † December 28, 1920 in Freienwalde (Oder) ) was a dike inspector in the Oderbruch .
Life
On July 1, 1890, Hager was appointed acting levee inspector; on July 1, 1891 he was given a permanent position. In 1892 he took over the entire technical administration of the Niederoderbruch. From 1891, Hager was in charge of the special polders and was a recognized expert on issues relating to the receiving water in the Lower Oder region. As a royal Prussian building officer , he was chairman and technical advisor to all Unterdeich associations. Hager was also a member of the Oder River Committee , the State Water Authority and the Märkisches Wasserstraßenbeirat.
