Paul Hammer (athlete)

Paul Hammer (born July 13, 1900 in Diekirch , † March 25, 1978 in Luxembourg ) was a Luxembourg sprinter and long jumper .

At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 , he was sixth in the 4 x 100 meter relay . Over 100 m , over 200 m and in the long jump he was eliminated in the first round.

In 1924 he was the flag bearer of the Luxembourg team at the Olympic Games in Paris . He reached the quarter-finals over 100 m . In the long jump he came in 23rd place, and over 200 m and 400 m he was eliminated in the preliminary run.
