Paul Jatzow

Paul Jatzow (born August 24, 1875 in Dannenberg ; † 1940 in Berlin ) was a German architect .

Life

Jatzow lived in Berlin and was a house architect for the terrain Society southwest of Georg Haberland . He designed u. a. the facades of the listed ensemble Rüdesheimer Platz , which was built by Georg Haberland before the First World War .

Jatzow called the so-called " Bauwiche ", the border distance between the houses, as "tooth gaps". In the Rheingau district in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, he gave up this construction site in favor of a closed development and thus created an ensemble that, together with the front gardens, transfers the building in the English country house style to the suburb apartment building.
