Paul Kovacs (born October 22, 1990 ) is an Australian cross-country skier .

Career

Kovacs has mainly participated in the Australia / New Zealand Cup since 2007 . He took third place in the overall ranking in 2014 and 2017 . He ran his first World Cup race in December 2012 in Canmore , which he finished with 70th place in the sprint. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme , he finished 112th over 15 km freestyle. In December 2013 he came in at the Winter Universiade in Lago di Tesero on the 73rd place over 10 km freestyle, on the 56th place in the 30 km mass start race and on the 15th place with the relay. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun he ran on 85th place over 15 km freestyle, 82nd place in the sprint and 23rd place together with Phillip Bellingham in the team sprint. In February 2017 in Pyeongchang he achieved his best individual placement in the World Cup with 45th place in the sprint. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti he finished 86th in the sprint, 62nd place over 15 km classic and 19th place together with Phillip Bellingham in the team sprint.
