Paul Lakämper

Paul Lakämper (born April 14, 1926 in Gütersloh ; † September 20, 1983 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, Lakämper completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter, which he completed in 1943 with the journeyman's examination. He then took part in the Second World War as a soldier and was used in the Navy . After the war he worked at Miele & Cie. KG , where he was promoted to foreman. He was married and had three children.

Political party

Lakämper was the founder of the Junge Union in Gütersloh. He joined the CDU in 1952, was chairman of the Wiedenbrück Local Political Association from 1961 to 1973 and then until 1983 chairman of the Gütersloh Local Political Association.

MP

Lakämper had been a councilor of the city of Gütersloh since 1952 and was later elected chairman of the CDU parliamentary group. In 1961 he moved into the district council of the Wiedenbrück district . He was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament from 1966 until his death.

Public offices

Lakämper was the district administrator of the Wiedenbrück district from 1964 until the municipal reorganization in 1973. After that he was district administrator of the Gütersloh district until his death .
