Paul Meder
Ernst Paul Meder (born September 3, 1872 in Stargard , † May 19, 1949 in Friedrichswerder ) was a German writer and Protestant theologian .
Life
The son of the senior tax inspector and tax councilor Theodor Meder attended schools in Krefeld and Duisburg and passed the Abitur at the secondary school in Erfurt . From 1892 to 1896 he studied theology at the University of Halle with intermediate studies in Berlin. In 1899 he became a Protestant pastor ordained . After a brief activity in Groß-Rottmersleben , he became a preacher in Großursleben in 1899 , in 1910 he moved to Rohr and in 1925 to Schartau near Burg. Meder retired in 1933.
In addition to his work as a clergyman, he devoted himself to writing popular plays.
Paul Meder was married to Gertrud Schulze and had four children.
