Paul Pacher from Theinburg

Paul Pacher von Theinburg (born December 24, 1832 in Sollenau , † April 27, 1906 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian industrialist and politician.

Life

Pacher von Theinburg was raised in Switzerland and completed a technical degree at the Polytechnic in Stuttgart . There he became a member of the Stauffia Corps in 1850 . He spent the years between 1850 and 1856 in Bremen and Liverpool , where he gained commercial experience. Then he joined his father's company and worked in jute processing. From 1856 member of the Lower Austrian Trade Association. 1862 President of the Association of Austrian Industrialists. 1895/96 municipal council in Vienna. From 1879 to 1894 he was a member of the Lower Austrian Landtag as leader of the German Nationalists , he was a member of the Vienna City Council in 1895/1896, and from 1897 he lived in Salzburg.

Paul was the grandson of Johann Martin Pacher von Theinburg and the brother of Gustav and Alwil .
