Paul Richter (born November 22, 1877 in Dresden , † January 20, 1958 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party (SdP).

education and profession

After attending elementary and community school , he learned the profession of chaser . He attended advanced training courses and in 1905 became an official of the general workers' sickness and benefit fund . From 1922 to 1934 he was publisher and editor-in-chief of the social democratic members ' magazine "Der Sozialdemokrat" .

Political functions

  • 1896: Foundation of the Social Democratic Electoral Association in Rudolfsheim
  • 1902: Member of the regional party representation of the SdP Lower Austria
  • 1917: appointed to the SdP executive committee

He was also a member of the provisional and the joint state parliament of Lower Austria and he was a member of the central board of the metalworkers' association.
