Paul Richter (politician, 1877)
Paul Richter (born November 22, 1877 in Dresden , † January 20, 1958 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party (SdP).
education and profession
After attending elementary and community school , he learned the profession of chaser . He attended advanced training courses and in 1905 became an official of the general workers' sickness and benefit fund . From 1922 to 1934 he was publisher and editor-in-chief of the social democratic members ' magazine "Der Sozialdemokrat" .
Political functions
- 1896: Foundation of the Social Democratic Electoral Association in Rudolfsheim
- 1902: Member of the regional party representation of the SdP Lower Austria
- 1917: appointed to the SdP executive committee
He was also a member of the provisional and the joint state parliament of Lower Austria and he was a member of the central board of the metalworkers' association.

- March 4, 1919 to November 9, 1920: Member of the Constituent National Assembly , SdP
- November 10, 1920 to October 1, 1930: Member of the National Council ( 1st , 2nd and 3rd legislative period ), SdP
- December 2, 1930 to February 17, 1934: Member of the National Council ( fourth legislative period ), SdP
Others
Paul Richter served political prison sentences in 1934 and 1944.
