Paul Schneider (born March 25, 1872 in Balve , † October 20, 1936 in Arnsberg ) was a German lawyer and politician . He was Mayor of Arnsberg (1922–1932).

Life

Born as the son of a lawyer and notary , he studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau from 1891 after attending grammar school in Arnsberg . During his studies he became a member of the Saxo-Silesia Freiburg fraternity in 1891 . After his doctorate as Dr. iur. and after his exams he became a lawyer in Arnsberg, where he was a city ​​councilor in 1919 and mayor in 1922 until his retirement in 1932. In 1924 he became the main chairman of the Sauerland Mountain Club . He put this office in 1933 in the DC circuit of the club down and was Deputy Chairman.
