Paul Seidler

Paul Seidler (born April 24, 1902 in Berlin ; † November 15, 1962 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Paul Seidler first attended an elementary school and then a preparatory institute . In 1923 he joined the SPD. He worked in the commercial sector and did voluntary work in public welfare . After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists , Seidler moved from Berlin to Gotha in 1934 for political reasons.

After the Second World War , Seidler returned to Berlin and immediately became politically active in the Steglitz district . He worked as a consultant in the Wedding District Office . In the Berlin election in 1948 he was elected to the district assembly in Berlin-Steglitz, later also as chairman of the SPD parliamentary group there. Since Georg Stücklen was re-elected to the district councilor in Steglitz, Seidler was able to move up to the Berlin House of Representatives in June 1951 . In the same year he became a managing board member of the consumer cooperative in Berlin .
