Paul Skoda

Paul Skoda (born June 29, 1901 in Schlaney ; † after April 20, 1945 (missing)) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Life

After attending primary school in Schlaney, Skoda learned the shoemaking trade from 1916 to 1919. From 1921 to 1924 he worked as a miner in the Wenceslaus mine in Mölke near Neurode . In 1925 he got a job as a mail helper at the Reichspost in Berlin-Spandau .

Skoda joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP, membership number 41,874) in April 1926 .

In the Reichstag election of March 1933 , Skoda was elected to the Berlin Reichstag for the first time , to which he subsequently belonged without interruption until the collapse of the National Socialist dictatorship in May 1945. During this time his mandate was confirmed three times in “elections”. In the period from March 1933 to March 1936, Skoda represented constituency 3 (Potsdam II), then until 1945 constituency 3 (Berlin East). One of the important parliamentary events in which Skoda was involved during his time as a member of parliament was the vote on the Enabling Act in March 1933, which was finally passed with Skoda's vote .

In 1933 at the latest, Skoda took over the post of district leader of District I ( Charlottenburg / Spandau) in the Greater Berlin district, which he held until 1945. Furthermore, he was Gauamtsleiter and from 1939 Gauinspektor in the Berlin NSDAP Gau as well as an honorary judge at the People's Court during the Second World War . Skoda was married to Maria Haak. In March 1948 she sued her missing husband for a divorce due to the defendant's fault. The hearing was scheduled for June 15, 1948 before the 17th civil chamber of the regional court in Berlin-Zehlendorf-West.
