Paul Suhr (born September 6, 1902 in Königsberg , † August 15, 1933 near Munich ) was a German politician and KPD functionary.

After attending elementary school, he completed a commercial apprenticeship. From 1921 to 1928 he worked as a salesman, warehouse keeper and branch manager at the Königsberg consumer association . As early as 1922 he joined the KPD and its youth association KJVD . In this he worked, among other things, as head of the local branch in Königsberg, later as political secretary of the East Prussia district management of the KJVD. In 1929 he attended the International Lenin School in Moscow . After his return he worked as a full-time functionary in East Prussia and Hamburg . At the beginning of 1932 he took over the management of the Halle district organization as political secretary -Merseburg . In April 1932 he was elected to the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until the end of the fourth legislative period in 1933.

After the seizure of power by the Nazis on 30 January 1933 Suhr participated in the last joint meeting of the leading Communist Party politicians in the sports store Ziegenhals part in Berlin. Then he organized the transition of party work into illegality, first in his area of ​​responsibility Halle-Merseburg, later in the area of southern Bavaria . There he was probably killed while working near Munich. There is no more detailed information about his further fate. In Halle, the former Friedrich-Ebert-Straße ( Paul-Berck-Straße during the Nazi era ) was named after him.
