Paul Uhle (archivist)
Paul Bernhard Uhle (born September 24, 1856 - † October 8, 1930 ) was a German educator and archivist .
Uhle received his doctorate in 1886 at the University of Leipzig on the subject of Quaestiones de orationum Demostheni falso addictarum scriptoribus . Subsequently, he worked as a teacher and most recently as vice-principal at the Chemnitz secondary school , where he held the title of professor. At the same time he was the city archivist of Chemnitz and chairman of the Society for Chemnitz History. He wrote numerous titles on the history of Chemnitz , including the commemorative publication for the 750th anniversary of the city of Chemnitz (1893) and a source book on the history of Chemnitz in the Middle Ages (1922).
His grave is in the Chemnitz municipal cemetery .
