Paulo Romeu Dantas Bastos
Paulo Romeu Dantas Bastos (born August 20, 1955 in Nova Soure , state of Bahia ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of the Brazilian diocese of Alagoinhas .
Life
Paulo Romeu Dantas Bastos was ordained a priest on May 18, 1985 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Alagoinhas on April 24, 2002 . The Bishop of Barreiras , Richard Josef Weberberger OSB , donated him episcopal ordination on July 27 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Luís Flávio Cappio OFM , Bishop of Barra , and Jaime Mota de Farias , Former Bishop of Alagoinhas. As a motto he chose POR CRISTO, COM CRISTO, EM CRISTO .
