The Evangelical Lutheran St. Paul Church stands at Kranoldplatz 11 corner Bruno-Bauer-Straße in the district Berlin-Neukölln of Berlin Neukölln . The Paulus Congregation belongs to the Independent Evangelical Lutheran Church .

history

On the Sunday of the Passion 1965, when it became a community center designed church building was inaugurated. The construction had become necessary because after the construction of the Berlin Wall on August 13, 1961 , the parishioners from Kreuzberg and Neukölln could no longer come to their church in the former Old Lutheran southern parish in Annenstrasse in Berlin-Mitte . On March 22nd, 2015, the community celebrated the 50th anniversary of its consecration in its premises .

Building description

The modern church hall is connected to a side residential cultivated . A simple, large cross on the windowless side wall of the adjoining house indicates the church. The inconspicuously plastered building is covered with a flat pyramid roof, which continues to the entrance area in a flat roof . The church hall, which is also vaulted by a pyramid ceiling, is illuminated through a large window and the narrow window slots over the entire wall. There is a similar window arrangement on the opposite wall. The vestibule is on the ground floor of the residential building.

Furnishing

To support the singing during worship there is one from the Berlin Karl Schuke organ workshop in 1967 built the organ .
