Pavlovia

The Pavlovian is a regional expression of Upper Paleolithic culture of Gravettiens . The term Pavlovien was coined in 1959 by H. Delporte after studying the extensive inventory of bone artifacts in Pavlov , Moravia . Since then, the term has been used by some archaeologists for sites in Moravia, Lower Austria and Slovakia . Other authors also use the term Gravettian here to illustrate the great uniformity of this archaeological culture .
