Pawas
Pawas (actually Pawas Gupta ) is an Indian DJ and music producer in the electronic music scene .
Life
Pawas was born and raised in India , where he enjoyed a classical upbringing as a musician. The Indian percussion instrument tabla played a decisive role here. Independently of this, he learned other instruments such as percussion , bass guitar and keyboard on his own.
At the age of 17 he began his career as a DJ in his native India. In 2004 he moved to Europe and quickly gained a foothold in the local electronic music scene. After that he started producing tracks and was able to impress the music scene in 2007 with the release "Katang", which he produced together with DJ Daso .
In his further career he published with various record labels , such as B. Spectral Sound, Flash, Squonk and Night Drive Music. The releases "Bummelzug", "Det" and "Piano Rain" were direct hits in the scene and were played by many recognized DJs, such as B. Dubfire , John Digweed , Hernan Cattaneo , Marc Romboy , Jimpster , Satoshie Tomiie and many more.
His career took him to various German clubs, such as Rote Sonne in Munich , Cookies in Berlin , and Baalsaal in Hamburg .
Music genre
Pawa's music style moves between deep house with Detroit influences and mixes with other elements from house and techno .
