Pawel Cibicki (born January 9, 1994 in Malmö ) is a Swedish - Polish football player . He is under contract with second division Leeds United in England and plays on loan in Norway for Molde FK . He is also a former Polish and Swedish young national player.

Career

Cibicki, the son of Polish parents, grew up in his hometown Malmö and began playing football at Nyadala IF and later moved to the youth academy of Malmö FF . In the 2013 season he was used four times for the professional team and became Swedish champion. In the subsequent qualification for the UEFA Europa League , he also played in four games. In the 2014 season he was used in 21 league games; Malmö FF won the championship again. The club qualified for the Champions League 2014/15 , in which Cibicki made three appearances. In the 2016 season he played on loan at Jönköpings Södra IF and came to 26 missions in which he scored nine goals and returned to Malmö FF for the 2017 season. He was used in 20 more games (five goals) by the end of August 2017.

Shortly before the end of the summer transfer period of the 2017/18 season, Cibicki moved to England to the second division Leeds United . By the end of the season in which Leeds United finished 13th in the table, he came across competitions on ten missions. On July 3, 2018, Cibicki moved to Norway on loan to Molde FK .

National team

Cibicki was used for the Polish U-19 national team as well as for the U-20 selection . From 2016 he played for the Swedish national team and qualified with the Swedish U-21 national team for the U-21 European Football Championship 2017 in Poland ; at this final he was part of the Swedish squad and came to three missions.
