Paweł HOME (born June 7, 1964 in Jelenia Góra ) is a Polish Lutheran theologian and since 2018 Bishop of the Masurian Diocese of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .

Paweł home is the son of pastor Jan home and Alicja, née Reschke. His paternal grandfather - his name was also Paweł - was a clergyman.

Growing up in Warsaw , Paweł home began studying theology at the Christian Theological Academy there, which he graduated in 1993. His ordination took place in the same year . Congregational internships completed at home in Łódź , Cracow and Zabrze (Hindenburg), worked as vicar from 1993 to 1994 in Zabrze and from 1994 to 1995 in Ustronie and took up parish service at the Johanneskirche in Kętrzyn (Rastenburg) in 1995 , from 1999 as the leading pastor .

From 2001 to 2017 Paweł home was the clergyman responsible for the Order of St. John , and from 2010 to 2013 also youth pastor in the diocese of Mazury. In 2013 he was appointed to a commission to deal with the history of the church between 1945 and 1989.

On November 25, 2017, the diocesan synod meeting in Mikołajki (Nikolaiken) elected home to the head of the Masurian diocese. On February 17, 2018, he was inducted into the office of Bishop of the Diocese of Mazury in the Church of Mikołajki . The introduction was carried out by Jerzy Samiec , the leading bishop of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland . His term of office runs until 2028. Home was successor to Bishop Rudolf Bażanowski .

Paweł home is married and has three children.
