Pawel Michailowitsch Sorin ( Russian Павел Михайлович Сорин ; born March 12, 1995 in Pskow ) is a Russian rower .

The 1.95 m tall Sorin reached the C-final in double sculls at the 2013 Junior World Championships . At the U23 World Championships in 2014, he finished ninth in the single . At the 2014 World Championships in the adult class, Sorin competed in a double scull, but only reached the D final. At the end of May 2015, the Russian double scull with Vladislav Ryabzew , Pawel Sorin, Vyacheslav Mikhailevsky and Sergei Fedorowzew won the title at the European Championships , three months later the boat missed direct Olympic qualification with a 13th place at the 2015 World Championships . Before the 2016 Olympic season, Sorin switched from scull rowing to oar rowing . With the Russian eighth , he won silver at the European Championships in May 2016 . At the U23 World Championships in 2017 , he won the silver medal in the double scull .
