Pedro Tagliani
Pedro Tagliani (* 1961 in the state of Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil) is a Brazilian jazz guitarist .
Life
Tagliani studied from 1978 first at the Escola da Orquestra Sinfônica de Porto Alegre and later at the Escola do Guitarrista Gaúcho. Since 1980 he has been the guitarist and composer of the group Raiz de Pedra, with whom he recorded four albums. The last one, Diário de Bordo with Egberto Gismonti as a guest, was released on the German label Enja .
Tagliani has lived in Europe since 1993. He worked here with musicians such as Egberto Gismonti, Wolfgang Lackerschmid , Stella Jones , Dave Samuel , Ruben Gomes and Peter Finger . In 1998 he recorded the album Arvoredo in Vienna with saxophonist Thomas Kugi .
