Pedro dos Martires da Costa
Pedro dos Mártires da Costa (born August 1, 1957 in Caibada , Portuguese Timor ; † June 21, 2017 in Caibada, East Timor ) was a politician from East Timor. He was a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party.

Costa completed an engineering degree in electrical engineering. At times he was chairman of the Partido Socialista de Timor (PST) and a member of the permanent council of the Conselho Nacional de Resistência Timorense , the umbrella organization of the East Timorese resistance. In the elections to the Constituent Assembly of East Timor , Costa was elected as a candidate for the PST in what would later become the National Parliament of East Timor . In the 2007 elections he again entered parliament, this time for the CNRT. During this legislative period he was a member of the Commission for Infrastructure and Social Facilities (Commission G). Also in 2012 Costa came back to Parliament and was now a member of Commission E for Infrastructure, Transport and Communication.
Costa died in his birthplace Caibada on June 21, 2017.
