Life
Peer Krage is the son of the motorboat racing driver Hans-Georg Krage .
In 1984 he celebrated his first successes in motorboat racing in the 700 cm³ class. Like his father, he became German champion in the 500 cm³ and world champion in the 700 cm³ class. In 1994 he ended his sports career.
In 1990, after two years of training in his father's workshop, he passed his journeyman's examination and then obtained his master's degree in the automotive trade in 1996 . In 2002 he took over his father's car repair shop, which was founded in 1962 and specializes in Porsche models, on Richardstrasse in Neukölln .
In 2007 he restored a prototypical König - BMW 500 Touring (two of which were built) from his father's possession. This has a four-cylinder - two-stroke - boxer engine from the motor racing.
Like his father in 1986, he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf in 1991. His name is listed on the memorial complex for Dieter König, inaugurated in 2001 on the grounds of the Steglitz harbor.
