The Peg Perego SpA is an international Italian manufacturer of transport and sitting aids and toys for children.
The family company based in Arcore in the province of Monza and Brianza produces and sells child seats , strollers and highchairs as well as two, three and four-wheeled, partly battery-powered, children's vehicles under the Peg-Pérego brand . The company was founded in 1949 by Giuseppe Perego and was the first manufacturer to produce strollers with rubber wheels instead of the metal or basket wicker wheels that were common up until then . Peg Perego employs a total of around 1500 people and in 2002 had sales of 193 million euros.
