Pelzig are a German music group from Ingolstadt . The genre of music can best be described as alternative rock .
history
The band was formed in 1995 as a side project to Slut , where René Arbeithuber (drums) and Rainer Schaller (guitar / keyboards) are also members. Schaller's brother Christian plays bass with Pelzig, the singer is Christian Schulmeyr.
The debut album The Car Compilation was recorded and mixed in the Uphon Studios in Weilheim . All other albums were recorded in the rest noise studio in Westerhofen and mixed in the Uphon studios in Weilheim . Between 2004 (after the release of Safe In Its Place via Karate Joe Records ) and 2015, the group took an eleven-year break, during which the members primarily devoted themselves to other projects.
