René Arbeithuber (* 1974 in Leoben ) is a German musician and artist.

Life

Arbeithuber, who originally comes from Ingolstadt and lives and works in Munich , joined the band Slut in 1996 as a keyboardist and founded the band Pelzig in 1995 . In 1999 he began studying communication design at the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences , but broke it off due to his increasing musical activity with Slut and the record deal with Virgin Records . In 2001 Slut played with Robbie Williams in the Munich Olympic Hall . In 2005 the band took part in Stefan Raab 's first Bundesvision song contest and set The Threepenny Opera to music in 21 sold-out performances at the Ingolstadt Theater . In 2009, after the release of the sixth regular studio album, the band Corpus Delicti and the writer Juli Zeh implemented a multimedia play, a radio play and a two-week tour. The band has written various theater and film scores, including for Hans-Christian Schmids Crazy . In 2003, Arbeithuber founded the xhoch4 design office in Ingolstadt (moved to Munich in 2008) and is still a partner there today . The work of xhoch4 have won numerous prestigious design awards. As a visual artist , he participates in national and international exhibitions. In July 2011 he founded the pop band Gender Bombs with Stella Lindner . In 2012 the band was selected as one of 20 bands for the “Sound of Munich now” festival of the Süddeutsche Zeitung in cooperation with the Feierwerk . Slut released a new album in 2013 and Gender Bombs' debut album in 2014.
