Perć Przyrodników ( German Naturfreundepfad ) is a mountain trail in the Babia Góra massif in Poland . It is considered a moderately difficult hiking trail in the Saybuscher Beskids . Its name comes from the fact that the Babia Góra National Park staff regularly used it.

Location and route

The trail begins at the Markowe Szczawiny Hut and leads to the Sokolica peak in the Babia Góra massif .

First, you walk a little along the blue-marked Górny Płaj hiking trail , which initially descends to an altitude of 1050 meters. Soon the green marked path branches off at the top. First you walk through an old mountain forest, a strictly protected nature reserve in the national park. Then comes a section with mountain pines and finally a scree landscape. At the end it gets a bit steep, rock stairs lead to the viewing platform. The trail crosses several other hiking trails. In the summit area it crosses the main Beskydy hiking trail .
