The Per Brahe was a steamship that was built in Copenhagen , Denmark in 1908 .

history

From 1908 to 1915 the ship served the route Copenhagen (Havnegade) - Malmö . In 1915 it was chartered by Danske Statsbaner and was then used between Kalundborg and Aarhus until 1917 . The ship was moved to the new home port of Kalundborg in 1916.

In 1917, "Danske Statsbaner" acquired the ship, which was now named Niels Holst and which continued to operate on the previous ferry route.

In 1936 the ship was sold to “Finska Ångfartygs Ab” in Helsinki and from there in the same year to “Ångfartygs Ab Mariehamn-Höyrylaiva Oy Mariehamn, Turku”. From 1937 to 1953 the ship was used on the ferry route Turku - Mariehamn - Stockholm .

In 1955 it was sold for scrapping to "Carl Persson & Söner AB" in Ystad . The structure may have been used for a restaurant in Stockholm.
