The Perkins Glacier is a wide glacier with a slight gradient on the Ruppert coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . From the McDonald Heights it flows in a westerly direction and flows 13 km south-southeast of Cape Burk into Hull Bay .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1974 after Earle Bryant Perkins (1901–1986), biologist on the second Antarctic expedition (1933–1935) of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd .
