Perry Arthur Satullo (born October 25, 1966 in Lakewood , Ohio ), better known under the ring name Perry Saturn , is a former American wrestler of Italian origin. He is currently employed as a junior coach at the market leader WWE .

Career

Sports background and beginnings

Satullo has a sporting background in judo and karate .

He began his training at Killer Kowalski's wrestling school . After Satullo finished training, he made his debut in the United States Wrestling Association on October 27, 1990 . Various commitments followed in Japan and the USA, e. B. at the World Wrestling Federation .

Extreme Championship Wrestling / World Championship Wrestling

In the spring of 1995, Satullo made his debut at ECW . There he appeared together with John Kronos as a tag team, "The Eliminators". In 1996 and 1997 , Satullo and Kronos won the ECW World Tag Team titles three times .

In order to conquer his drug and drug addiction , he took part in drug therapy .

After drug therapy, Satullo made his debut in World Championship Wrestling on November 3, 1997 . Satullo won the WCW World Television title from Disco Inferno in that match . He gave it back to Disco Inferno after a month.

In the WCW, Satullo joined the stable Raven's Flock . With this he feuded against Chris Benoit and Diamond Dallas Page . In May 1998 he started a feud with Horace against his former stable colleagues.

World Wrestling Federation / Independent

On February 1, 2000, Satullo made his debut in the World Wrestling Federation . There he formed the stable Radicalz with Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero .

After the dissolution of the table, Satullo appeared again in the individual area. Satullo was mainly used in the new WWF Hardcore Division . There he was allowed to win the WWE Hardcore Championship twice. In March 2002, the WWE fired him.

After his release, Satullo appeared in several independent leagues (e.g. World Wrestling All-Stars or New Japan Pro Wrestling ).

NWA Total Nonstop Action Wrestling / Independent

On March 26, 2003, Satullo made his debut in NWA Total Nonstop Action Wrestling . There he was integrated into a stable with two former ECW wrestlers (New Jack and The Sandman ). After a few matches, most of which were played according to hardcore rules, he left the promotion.

From May 2003 Saturn appeared again in some independent leagues. On September 15, he temporarily ended his career with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

From October 2011 Satullo returned for a few matches in smaller promotions before he was hired as a trainer for the junior division at the market leader WWE from October 2013.

Before starting his wrestling career, Satullo was a soldier in the US Army between 1984 and 1988 . In April 2004, he was shot in the neck while trying to save a woman from rape . He then got a metal plate and several screws inserted.
