The Perth Oval is a football stadium in the city of Perth in the Australian state of Western Australia . The facility is currently sponsored by the HBF Park , after the HBF Health Fund .
History and use
The stadium was built in 1910. Renovations took place in 2004 and 2010. The open-air arena is used for sports and concert events alike. The venue is the venue for rugby , football and cricket games. The Perth Oval is the home ground of the East Perth Football Club , Western Force and Perth Glory clubs . Concerts by internationally known artists such as Eric Clapton , Ed Sheeran , Elton John or the Eagles took place here. The sports stadium has a capacity of around 32,000 for concerts and around 20,500 for sporting events and tournaments.
