Pesticide Action Network

The Pesticide Action Network (PAN) is an international, non-profit organization that provides information on the negative consequences of the use of pesticides in agriculture and advocates other environmentally friendly and socially just solutions. The environmental protection organization was founded in 1982.

The establishment of PAN Germany - Pesticide Action Network took place in 1984. The registered association based in Hamburg has the following areas of work: public criticism of the chemical pesticide industry through public relations; attempting to lobby politicians and political organizations through lobbying in order to make effective arrangements; as well as advice and offers for farmers and consumers on poison avoidance. PAN Germany has chaired PAN Europe for several years. At this level, attempts are made to gain influence over the European Union .
