PETDuo is a Brazilian DJ duo in the electronic music scene, consisting of Anne Gelfei and David Merlino.

history

In 1994 Gelfei and Merlino merged to form PETDuo. However , they did not make their first debut in their home country Brazil until three years later.

From 2002 to 2013 the duo was under contract with the booking agency of DJ Rush and was able to win over the European continent. This cooperation made it possible in a short time with greats like Marco Remus , Adam Beyer , Speedy J , Uroš Umek and Dave Clarke at festivals and in various clubs, such as B. Liberty White in Gent , U60311 in Frankfurt am Main , La Nuit Rouge in Montpellier. PETDuo has been under contract with the booking and management agency dancefield since 2013.

Music genre

The music style of Pet Duo consists largely of techno , but always influences from the past of the two artists, such as B. Industrial , EBM , funk , hip-hop and rock . Due to this special mixture, the duo gained great popularity within a short time.

Life

The duo is originally from São Paulo , but has lived in Berlin since 2006 . In 1995 the couple married.
