Peter Badge (* 1974 in Hamburg , Germany ) is a German photographer and honorary consul of East Timor .

Badge studied art history in Berlin and then worked as a freelance photographer for various magazines. He later began his own projects in which he portrayed well-known artists, scientists and politicians. His photo series include "Men on the Moon", "Elviswho" and "Philantropists". For his project “ Nobel Prize Winners in Portrait” (since 2000) and the order from the Klaus Tschira Foundation in Heidelberg in 2012 to photograph all Turing , Abel , Fields and Nevanlinna Prize winners, he traveled to various countries. His pictures have been shown several times in exhibitions.

On September 26, 2011, Badge was appointed the first Honorary Consul for East Timor in Germany. He got to know the country when he photographed the East Timorese Nobel Peace Prize laureate and politician José Ramos-Horta as part of his project .
