Peter Baronsky

Peter Baronsky (born October 29, 1932 in Eberswalde ) is a former German handball player .

After the war ended in 1945, he came to Wittingen at the age of thirteen . There he also began playing handball at VfL Wittingen. He later worked at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg . At VfL Wolfsburg , he matured to become a national player.

Baronsky was in the joint squad of the German Handball Federation and the German Handball Association at the 1959 World Field Handball Championship , where the team became world champions. DHB President Ernst Feick had personally insisted on his commitment.

For the world championship title, Baronsky was awarded the silver bay leaf in 1959 .
