Peter Braukmann

Peter Braukmann (born January 23, 1953 in Hildesheim in Lower Saxony ) is a German musician and crime author. He became known with his music duo Schnappsack and through his work as a producer of cabaret records and radio broadcasts as well as editorial work for Monty Python's Flying Circus (subtitling for NDR ), RTL Saturday Night and Sat.1 programs such as Die Wochenshow or Hausmeister Krause . Peter Braukmann has been living and working as a freelance writer in Meißen since 2008 .

Life

Peter Braukmann was born in the city of Hildesheim .

He grew up in Bockenem in Ambergau . In 1971 he finished his Abitur in Seesen and began studying pedagogy.

Peter Braukmann is married and has two children.

Career

In 1977 Peter Braukmann began as a professional musician with the music duo Schnappsack , with whom he toured Europe and appeared on television and radio. The first LP, in 1978, was released on their own label Rillenschlange . The second LP and the first single were released in 1982, this time with the Peter Braukmann Band.

From 1983 to 1989 he was a producer of cabaret records and radio broadcasts and worked with Elke Heidenreich , Gerd Dudenhöffer , Erika Pluhar and Stephan Wald . From 1990 to 2004 he dealt with editorial work such as Monty Python, RTL Saturday Night, Comedy Factory for ProSieben and Die Wochenshow on Sat.1. From 2013 to 2015 he began work on several novels, of which he has published six works to date.
