Police station was a 13-part ZDF evening series from 1973, which was broadcast on Wednesdays at 6:35 p.m.

action

The young police officer Till Cassens actually wants to go to the criminal investigation department, but he is transferred to his home village, the fictional Osterkoog. There he deals with criminal cases of various kinds, but he has much bigger problems with his brother, the petty criminal Heiko. Till is in a relationship with Nancke Frenssen, his predecessor is the retired Imbeck. In the last episode, Cassens is faced with the decision to move to the big city with Heiko or to stay in the country.

The series dealt with smaller crimes such as burglary or car theft, capital crimes were not shown.

At about the same time, the author Carl Darrow wrote other scripts for ZDF, namely the 26-part crime series Mordkommission with Charles Regnier in the lead role.

In episode 9 ( A spa guest ) you saw the Hamburg folk actress Trude Possehl in one of her few television guest performances , together with Christa Siems , with whom she was appearing at the Hamburg St. Pauli Theater at the time .
