biography
Bruno Vahl-Berg had worked as a technical draftsman at a shipyard in Stralsund. When he returned from Soviet captivity in 1949, his brother Henry, who had an engagement at the Kiel City Theater , placed him there as a stage manager .
Among other things, he was engaged with Helmuth Gmelin at the Theater im Zimmer and later in the ensemble of the Ernst Deutsch Theater and the Ohnsorg Theater .
He added the suffix “-Berg” to his stage name at an early age so that the two brothers could be distinguished. He is buried next to his brother Henry in the Ohlsdorf cemetery.
