Claudia Amm

Claudia Amm (* 1948 in Cologne ) is a German actress .

Life

Amm grew up in Hanover and graduated from high school there. She also completed a ballet course and one as a foreign language correspondent for English and French. She was engaged at the Schauspiel Bonn for two years . She played many roles in world literature from Anja in the cherry orchard to Cordelia in William Shakespeare's King Lear . Later she changed the drama school, she went to the Schauspielhaus Bochum to Hans Schalla . This was followed by the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg . This was followed by engagements at the Freie Volksbühne Berlin , the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus and again at the Schauspielhaus Bochum.

Claudia Amm has been working as a freelancer since 1984. She played at theaters such as the Württemberg State Theater in Stuttgart , the Nationaltheater Mannheim , Renaissance Theater Berlin, Ernst-Deutsch-Theater Hamburg, at the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, Bad Hersfeld Festival and on tour.

Her most important roles included Orsina in Lessing's Emilia Galotti , Josi in Eugene O'Neill's A Moon for the Loaded and Marthe Schwertlein in Goethe's Faust .

From the 1970s she worked for television. She played in many productions such as, Partner sucht , The Accomplices or The Last Witness . She was also seen in series such as Ron and Tanja as Mother Pacul.

On November 1, 1999 Claudia Amm and her partner Günter Lamprecht were shot and seriously injured by a 16-year-old during his rampage in Bad Reichenhall after a theater appearance . A long convalescence followed for Amm, but she has been working again for years. She was a guest at the Staatstheater Darmstadt and toured several times with Turrinis Josef and Maria .

Claudia Amm lives between Cologne and Bonn together with her partner, who played with her in the series Roncalli , Christian Rother - Banker for Prussia and Ron and Tanja .
