Peter Eichenberger

Peter Eichenberger (born March 30, 1939 in Zollikofen ) is a former Swiss FDP politician and retired military doctor.

Eichenberger is a specialist FMH for internal medicine and worked in hospitals and in his own practice before military service. In the Swiss army , he was in the rank of Major General 1989-2001 Oberfeldarzt the army .

As a politician, he was already a member of the large council of Zollikofen from 1972 to 1981 and after his retirement from April 2005 to May 2006 a member of the large council of the canton of Bern .

Eichenberger was Vice President of the Medical Association of the Canton of Bern and, from 1991, President of the Red Cross Foundation Lindenhof. He is married and has three daughters.
