Peter Fischli

Peter Fischli (born January 1, 1947 in Näfels ) is a Swiss actor and theater director .

Life

From 1963 to 1968, Fischli attended the teachers' seminar in Rickenbach SZ . However, he later decided to work as an actor. From 1971 to 1973 he trained as an actor with Ellen Widmann . He has been working as a freelancer since 1981. For many years he has been on the stage playing, reading, translating and staging, the palette ranges from the experimental to the traditional; from the “claque” Baden, the Theater am Neumarkt Zurich , the Zurich fairy tale stage (Jim Knopf, Räuber Hotzenplotz, Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs) via Comedy and Casinotheater Winterthur (A Strange Couple), spock productions gmbh (Kille Kille, Die kleine Niederdorfoper ) to the Wettingen monastery games (Faust).

In the cinema and television he celebrated great success with films such as Grounding - The Last Days of Swissair , Der Fürsorger or The Money of Others as well as in the TV soap Lüthi and Blanc . On the radio, he worked on the radio play series Philip Maloney .

In 2003 and 2006, Fischli won the “ S'Goldig Chrönli ” in the story and radio play category.

Today he lives in Bremgarten AG .
