Reviews

“A film cannot really do it justice in all its facets, and so“ Grounding - The Last Days of Swissair ”has to accept the accusation from various quarters of describing the story in a simplistic way. The accusation that Marcel Ospel from the UBS bank is not the only one to blame, as suggested by the film, makes sense [...] Most feelings are attempted by “Grounding - The Last Days of Swissair” using fictional episodes about pilots To describe flight attendants and a cook at Swissair. During these fictional insertions, the otherwise superbly made film weakens a little. Alcohol problems, troubled mother-son relationships and other relationship and work relationship boxes unfortunately never come above the most clichéd soap opera level. "
