Peter Fritzsche (sculptor)

Peter Fritzsche (born May 30, 1938 in Freital ) is a German artist ( sculptor / sculptor ).

Live and act

After an apprenticeship as a stone sculptor from 1955 to 1958, Peter Fritzsche studied at the Dresden University of Fine Arts in the field of plastic with Walter Arnold , Gerd Jaeger , Herbert Naumann and Hans Steger . From 1964 Peter Fritzsche worked as a freelancer in Joachimsthal and Eberswalde and has been artistically active with his own studio in Freital since 1972 . Works by Peter Fritzsche are in public spaces and can be found in public collections such as the National Gallery in Berlin , the State Museum in Schwerin , the Museum of Young Art in Frankfurt / Oder, the Dresden City Gallery and the Art Museum of the Monastery of Our Lady Magdeburg . His work has been shown in numerous group and solo exhibitions at home and abroad.
