Günter Groß (museum director)

Günter Groß (born November 20, 1938 in Großsedlitz ) is a German engineer and museum director.

Life

Günter Groß is a trained upholsterer and, after completing his training as a qualified engineer for wood technology, worked as a technical manager in the furniture industry. In 1975 the city council of Dippoldiswalde gave him the management of the museum there. At that time, the museum was in the process of being set up and set up. He presented the monograph on the history of tannery in Saxony in 2008, which was published by the Saxon State Office for Museums , Department of Folk Culture, and printed in Husum .

Günter Groß, who owns a weekend property in Fürstenau , developed the DVD Fürstenau in 2009 together with his wife Rikarda Groß (1948–2019), who also worked at the Dippoldiswalder Museum from 1979 to 2013 .
