Peter Gasser (Germanist)
Peter Gasser (* 1951 in Balsthal ) is a Swiss German studies specialist .
Gasser studied philosophy , Romance languages and German literature at the University of Neuchâtel , where he received his doctorate in 1991 . From 1987 to 1993 he was senior assistant at the German Department of the University of Lausanne . Since 1995 he has been a lecturer in German-speaking Swiss literature at the University of Neuchâtel.
In his writings he deals with a. with Jeremias Gotthelf , Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Friedrich Nietzsche .
